Typical installed cost

$250 to $1,750

Termite treatment cost for one treatment has a typical figure of $625, within a sourced range of $250 to $1,750. The ranges on this page come from two sources, Angi and HomeGuide. The treatment method drives the price, and whole-home tenting costs far more than a single treatment. This page covers cost only. Use the figure as a starting budget, not a quote.

By treatment method

Each row combines one range from each of the two sources. HomeGuide's ranges are per treatment, chemical or bait. Angi shows the top of its tenting figure with a plus sign. Angi's table by home size is not used, because its ranges are too wide to compare.

Assumptions

  • Installed base: One treatment, typical range, no size selected.
  • Average area level uses low-to-typical and typical-to-high midpoints as bounds, with the sourced typical unchanged.
  • No applicable extras included.
  • Extras are added in full, and sourced installed ranges are treated as not including them.
  • Labor rows are informational only and are not added to installed costs.

Where these numbers come from

The ranges come from two sources, Angi and HomeGuide. Their dates and scope notes are shown below. The checked date records when the dataset was reviewed, not a promise that prices are unchanged.

The low and high are the medians of the published bounds. For two sources, the median is the mean of the pair. Typical is the median of the source midpoints, using a source average where one is given. Derived figures round to twenty-five-dollar steps below a thousand dollars and fifty-dollar steps at or above it, with exact halves rounded up. The estimator selects its base bounds, adds applicable extras in full and rounds the final totals.
